Katanas will be good for any Ash of War that gives a status other than Bleed. They get double status effect build-up, or triple if you have different statuses on each katana, but just stick with double. More effective. For any Powerstance weapon, you could do a Frostbite Weapon with Bleed AoW and a Bleed Weapon with a Frostbite AoW.
Power stance is when you have two weapons of the same type equipped, so 2 straight swords or 2 daggers, or w/e. Let's you do dual wield attacks with L1 that are usually faster and involve hitting with both weapons. Power stancing is the same thing as dual wielding with two weapons of the same type.
