Drop rate IMO feels the same and you can generally relax and do 2-3 runs of normal in the time it takes to do a single Master. I did around 20 normals and haven’t gotten a single red box. 1 normal wellspring and the red border blw dropped on the first run. The ones required for that quest need to be completed twice. World drops require 5 resonance completions. Look at your Triumphs under Patterns and Catalysts. It will tell you how many red weapons you need to unlock for each weapon. You do need several patterns for the pattern to be unlocked for certain weapons.

Master is probably around 1/2 or 1/3 if you're unlucky. Legend is about 1/5. Master is more worth cause you get golfballs.
