As far as 7000 rpm goes, yeah I think they could probably handle it but dont know for sure. We put 26# in ours and they will easily rev that high. You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. If you don't mind spending a bit more the Ducar 212 is available. It's a hemi engine and it comes with a PVL flywheel on it stock. The governor is also set much higher than the Predator. I'm thinking about picking one up for a DB30 Doodlebug roller I have. I would use the ducar 212 bottom ends, and use new non hemi head on both, with a billet rod and big pipe on one and stock rod and small pipe on the other.
