Cadillac cue not working.

Nov 10, 2015 · Hi, I own a 2013 Cadillac XTS and ever since I got it, I experienced no problems with the CUE system until a few days ago when all of a sudden the lower half of the screen is totally unresponsive (I touch it, nothing!). Motion sensors appear to work just fine. I tried the unplugging of the battery thing, nothing. Just put a new screen on my cue. Still not working. 2016 xts. Pulled the system and replaced screen. However, the device has to be able to detect the touch. I suspect some inanimate objects may not work. 250 posts · Joined 2014. #2 · Aug 3, 2015. It is a long shot but I believe CUE is based on the hard drive. It may be possible that the hard drive is dying. CUE is based on Linux and Linux system often becomes unresponsive when HDDs are experiencing troubles, constant resets etc. Nice Ride.

Hi, this weekend time changed from DST to standard time. Obviously "my" CUE is not designed to change/update the time on his own. There is no possibility to enable automatic time adjustment. It's not a matter of time (waited 2 days) nor a problem of available time sources (phone, 4G, radio).

Now I have to remove it and reinsert it to get recognized by CUE. I checked the USB stick out on my PC, even running diagnostics on it and it works perfectly. The CUE system, imho, is the worst thing to happen to Cadillac since the Cimarron or V-8-6-4 engine. I sold our 2010 CTS Sedan and bought the 2014 as a "Certified pre-owned" Cadillac. So far, 2 wheels have been straightened, the left front magnetic ride strut replaced, and had 2 new cam phasers installed.Whomever is having issues with the touchscreen not working. I did my own with the $179.00 screen. Trim tools are important as is the 7mm 1/4" drive socket and a skinny Phillips screwdriverand small needle nose pliers.
