Buying an MCX would be cool, but buying a better upper (fn, BCM, etc.) would be the more cost effective option. I'd personally go with something like a BCM 14.5 upper with a p/w muzzle device to keep avoid the whole pistol hassle (don't even get me started on the NFA hassle). I sold the legacy upper and I am now using the virtus upper on teh legacy lower. I didnt even think to see if the legacy lowers were compatible with virtus uppers.
