With three innate damage types (Physical, Magical, Lightning), an S DEX scaling, and an insane counter strength of 140, you definitely don’t want to be on the wrong end of this blade. It also uses a relatively low amount of stamina. Just an added benefit.

Fume UGS has higher damage and breaks the poise of enemies more easily but Greatsword has a better moveset IMO. If Fume UGS had a swing on it's first-attack R1 then I would take it over Greatsword anyday. Don't do much PvP. For PvE, the Greatsword is the best early game, and up there as a contender for best overall.
