I looked at the mod but I didn't notice anything that did it. (not familiar with what it is called) Is it possible to change it from 3 to 5, to 10?, to 1000?Unfortunately I do not believe so, specifically because in order to turn a quest in and receive your reward, you have to go to the quest target which would be a specific trader. The longer i think about it, the more i am sure that it's not a bug. If you have a trader in some range then it will update the quest to show you distance. If not, it will show 0.0 (no distance, as it doesn't detect any nearby). Teleporting near a trader (into the detection range) will update the range properly.
