Very good weapon though, and I know there are a lot of fans of it. Logarius Wheel ( Strength) - Wow is all I can say. This weapon has the second highest damage in the game and scales S with strength. Now, I say second highest but I had Skill and Strength at 50 and Ludwicks beat it. My build: Base STR for the weapon, then get 50 BLT. Get Base SKL to use the Bowlade & Chikage (optional) and get the Lost version of both from chalice dungeons. Use Bloodtinge gems to increase their DPS.Mugenbana. I have two main recommendations for you. Bone Cutter Saw Blade + Krat Police Baton Handle. Great mix of damage, range, speed and stagger. Charge r2s whenever possible, stagger, rinse repeat. Dont forget about the handle fable art, use it to power up your charged r2s.Best: Chikage, Bloodletter, Simon's Bowblade, Holy Moonlight Sword, Whirligig Saw. The Whirligig is my favorite strength weapon in the game. Be aware that it does have a somewhat slower move set along the lines of a halberd or two-handed axe, but turns most giant beasts into pulp. The untricked mace form offers a fairly swift attack for a strength weapon though. All of the weapons are viable.
As someone who recently (like since last month or so) bought and finished Bloodborne for the first time: Whirligig Saw. As far as I can tell it's THE most damaging pure strength weapon, so DPS is crazy. It's best in its transformed state where it actually swings quite fast and has long reach, and the L2 attack is pretty much cheating if you're fighting any enemy or boss that gets staggered easily.Also DeX iS GaY isn't funny. Lul. Skl builds in BB can tear apart enemies. Using a Skl/BlT build with a Rakuyo and Eveyln can be OP. STR weapons have great stunlock potential for most enemies around your size, spamming R1 without interruption is fun. Watch out for big bosses, though, those don't stagger as easily.Hunter Axe, Kirkhammer, Ludwig's Holy Blade are the main strength weapons. Saw Cleaver, Beast Claws and Stake Driver for quality builds and Tonitrus or Logarius Wheel for Strength/Arcane.
