It is an accurate cowboy six shooter plinker. But BEWARE! Make sure you get the STEEL framed models. Some models are made of a pot netal called ZAMAK which is what the chrome plated …Probably the lifter arm inside isn't doing it's job or the spring is broken. Just had it all apart, the hand's little leaf spring is intact and it seems to function correctly with the cylinder removed. Perhaps it's out of spec and a new one could fix it. I shoot 22mag in a couple of my rifles, so I bought cylinders, so all 3 have both. I haven't used one in the 9" yet, but the other 2 shoot both just fine.
