You're paying for fit, finish, the best 2011 carry-oriented (aka, not super rough) grip on the market today, the amazing Staccato trigger, optic ready, and a new slimmer grip (compared to C2 and other 2011s) with a 16 round flush-fit magazine. The Staccato XC was amazing, the slide was ridiculous and it shot extremely flat. The P has a heavier recoil spring so the slide isn't buttery like the XC, but still smooth. I'm going to go with the XC again just based on my past experience with it. Unabashedly in part due to aesthetics as well.

Steel vs aluminum, I just have the C2s, and use them for carry and training. They have just slightly more muzzle flip than the steel Staccato P. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum.
