Schwab Streetsmart Edge has shit the bed. Apparently, Schwab has given up on their desktop trading app Streetsmart Edge. It doesn't update options any more and now it no longer displays the Greeks or IV for options. In a chat with their CS, they claim that the problems will be fixed "eventually" but they can't say when.
I'm really curious of Streetsmart Edge performance for trading equities - since they don't offer paper trading and require you to open an account first before testing the platform, I would like to hear any opinions here of people who are using it. I currently use TD thinkorswim, which have become ridiculously laggy with halted executions. StreetSmart Edge is "Inspired Trading, By Design." Aside from lack lack of OnDemand and paper trading, the only thing I really miss in StreetSmart Edge is the Active Trader / Matrix from tos and TradeStation.
