It sounds like I need to farm for a more recent ikelos though. Mine is older. It doesnt matter when you get the weapon, it only matters when the weapon releases.

You shouldn't be random focusing weapons if you want the smg specifically. If you cannot focus an SMG bc you haven't gotten one in collections then do the resonant amps until you get one then focus for it specifically. The Ikelos weapons are in the world loot pool, and they don't drop often for most people. Hey, there are better and easier to farm SMGs for PvP, the older the guns are the less chance you have to get them from random drop sources. Good luck finding a good roll!
