Is staccato worth it.

Worth every penny. I contemplated selling mine because I was in it for so much money. $2400 for the gun, $300 for reduced/stippled grip, $70 magazines, $150 optic plate, and $500 SRO. So about $3,500 and was having a hard time justifying it. As soon as I shot it that justified the price real quick.And the mr920 is no where near as good to shoot. Also worth mentioning - the XC has a 9 lb recoil spring in it. I believe the stock spring was 8 lbs. Although I haven't had a single malfunction with it, I did notice the slide hesitating when feeding flat-nosed and HP ammo. The 9lb spring took care of that, but I may film the XC again using the stock spring to see how it affects muzzle dip.

There is a VERY noticeable difference is racking smoothness, ability to clean and appearance (since it doesn't show wear). I feel guilty I didn't get the DLC ...A bulk of the Prodigy issues seem to be worked out since the release. As mentioned Bul seems to be the way to go if you need a Stac alternative. If you plan on growing a collection of 2011's, I would consider that the Bul mags don't crossover to many current 2011 guns. Suppressed wise, I have my USP 9 Tactical that's the dedicated host to my CGS Mod 9. I'm picking up the new modular CGS 9mm can when it drops (mostly to run in short configuration) and it'll be dedicated to this Staccato. I won't be carrying the Staccato and it'll be equipped with a light and red dot as well.

I have the Staccato PDuo in steel frame and 2 DS-9 hybrid and my opinion is the DS-9 packs a lot of features for $2500. The rigger on the DS-9 is great and expect the pull to be around 2 - 2.75 lbs. fitting the frame to slide is very good considering most custom 2011 will run way more than 2500 bucks.
