Jake brake not working on high.

06 Cat C15 NXS. Jakes stop working after an hour or so of running. If driver restarts the engine, jakes resume working for another hour or so and the cycle continues. My exhaust brake will not engage with the cruise control on, engaged or not. You can spoof the exhaust brake by disconnecting the twelve volt power supply and apply 112 volt direct to the solenoid.
