Kawasaki Lakota carb question. I have a 1998 Kawasaki Lakota 300. I ran it around at 4200 feet and it was fine. Now I am trying to run in the mountains around 6,000+ feet. Starts and idles fine, but as soon as the throttle is applied it goes and cuts out, like it is hitting the RPM limiter, although it is not: Does it at low RPMs.I have another strange question regarding the Lakota. I bought this used about 6 weeks ago and the day I bought it there was a slight knocking noise coming from the motor. It would speed up with the rpm, but when it gets revved pretty high it goes away, well at least I cant hear it.
