The magazines will seat into the X series grip when the FCU is removed, but when the FCU was installed the mags won’t go in all the way like something is obstructing them.To elaborate on this, about 5 months ago I bought a civilian M17 and was so impressed with the trigger I figured I’d use that as the centerpiece of the build. Luckily I found the 3 FCU’s and didn’t need to part out the civvy m17. I still have it in the safe just in case one of the girls wants it. You know how daughters can be lol.

Then grab the FCU where the hole is for the take down lever and pull up and forward again, the back should pop up and out.
