I routinely shoot the M1 Garand and M1A platform, and I find the length of pull on these rifles to be perfect for me (I'm 5'9").

I also have a PTR-91 GI R and a M1A Loaded and I like the PTR more. Magazines are cheap, AK reliable in function, and handles steel cased ammunition with no problem. I added the HK wide handguard and bipod along with a Primary Arms 5X Prism optic with ADM QD mount on the 1913 rail. IMHO these rifles are the best 7.62X51mm rifles on the market.
