Aug 10, 2021 · Intermittent starting issues. I have a 2017 MDX Tech. Twice in the last week the vehicle would not start. No indicators on the remote. One time I just tried later at it started. Today I was able to use the remote start and it started, but when I placed my foot on the brake and the start button it shut off. It started again later. I don't like the push buttons for a couple reasons: 1) I saw in Topgear one of the hosts was able to steal one of the other hosts cars w/ a button start.
