The Uchigatana is very light and has low requirements, buffed you can defend yourself in melee pretty well without having to put many points in dex/strength.Partizan has good scaling and the r2 does strike damage. Hunter blackbow is good. Useful rings are stone ring or leo ring, ring of blades, Flynn's ring and a dragon ring. Two-hand the rapier and go without armor. Get good at dodging. Dex gay. Dex man berry picker, berry picker no get mate and freeze when big cold come.Daggers have the best riposte damage in DS2. I'm not sure other than that. The mace is not a bad strength weapon. Can't go wrong with a Longsword. It's one of the most versatile weapons for both pve and pvp (top tier in pvp), and after beating the game with nothing but the LS, imo if I had to pick just one weapon, it would be the Longsword, no contest. The chariot lances light attack into strong attack is a combo that will cause instant bleed (versus typical players).
