The fob has a pretty low range for the lock proximity or it could be that you and your passengers don’t get out of the car and close the door in similar times. It’s happened with me, but once you the quirks it’s pretty easy to handle.

I guess this is to prevent you from locking the yourself out of the car, but it's a bass-ackwards implementation that ends up malfunctioning half of the time.The dealer had their delivery tech guy come and check and he said there wasnt a way to disable the "Walk away auto-lock" beeps.
