May 29, 2014 · Replacing the valve body should resolve this. I don't think you'd need to replace the entire transmission since the solenoid is on the valve body itself. FWIW, that price is absurd for the valve body. You can pick up a rebuilt one (with warranty) for like $700 on the high end. It's 4-6 hours shop time. So the price should be half of what he wants.
Picked up FX this morning from the dealer and all seems to work normal like before. The part number is listed as : DEVICE ASSY-TRANSMIS- 34901 - 1CA1C - search for 349011CA1C or 34901 - 1CA1C some sites want the dash and some don't. Sep 26, 2016 · 2009 FX35 - intermittent stalling issue finally fixed. I am posting the following in the case that someone may go through a similar problem and need some help diagnosing the problem. This is a copy of the review that I placed on Consumer Affairs today. 2009 INFINITI FX35. Infiniti fx35 2005. They took out the solenoid and ohm'ed it out. All is good. There isn't an issue with it, yet the P1757 keeps coming up after clearing the codes. They actually don't know what the problem is for certain. Maybe there's a problem with the ribbon connector on the TCM. It could be throwing this code if it's loose.
Miller Infiniti in Van Nuys has contacted the "helpline" to no avail. They are now talking about replacing the alternator, but they really have no idea what is going on with the car. So replacing the alternator could be of no help. If you try to change the plugs, buy the gasket kit for the plenum, intake and the air-flow-meter. and replace them. Try to avoid disconnecting the air-flow-meter. clean it without disconnecting.
