Housing Choice Voucher. Income Limits (SNRHA): Eligibility for a housing voucher is determined by the PHA based on the total annual gross income and family size. In general, the family's income may not exceed 50% of the median income for the county or metropolitan area in which the family chooses to live. Families on the Sonoma County Housing Authority's waiting list will be served based on their numerical standing and preferences that apply. Applications deemed ineligible once selected will be removed from the list. Applicants without preferences can expect to be served within 24 months of approval for a voucher.
