Mar 4, 2011 · get used to your judge before you hand them 45/410 ammo. LOL Normally he makes them 2.5" for a 2-1/2" Judge. But ask him to make them 2.585 (1/64th short). If you have a 3" Judge do the same, ask for 1/64th less than the full cyl length. PS I also load some 410 full length brass and the plastic cups are perfect for a pair of 115gr HP 357/9mm slugs.

They are rated for the 45 colt but not the Ruger only loads. Max load for a 225 grain jacketed bullet is only 7.5 grain. As said before 7.3 for 230 lead. Here is a 5 shots sequence and their patterns at 5 yards with PDX Home defense, 000 Buck and (1) #4 Buck (not fine shot) and only one of the #4 buck missed the target completely at 15 feet.
