The bose TV has 2 larger elliptical full range speakers vs the 2 small circle ones on the Bose solo 5, so It should be able to move a lot more air. The Bose tv also has a central tweeter for high frequencies which the solo 5 doesn't have. I did notice that central tweeter.
Extremely common issue with the Soundtouch 300. When Bose had community forums there was a thread of probably hundreds of identical complaints. My ST300 broke earlier this year, power supply died. Still Bose flagship model with best specs. For mics; 700 has got eight of them where QC45’s got six. So call quality is just clearer with the 700’s. Charge 5. Charge 5 is a great speaker. Probably the best after charge 3. If you want more power for outside party’s then the Charge 5. If you want to sit in your bedroom with your white coat and clipboard then the Bose. The Bose has a slightly more detailed sound from what I picked up on YouTube.
Still can’t tell what colour smoke white is supposed to be on the 45. I received the q45 in black they are very nice. The noise cancellation is amazing. The stereo is very pronounced on some songs a little to much of a good thing. Overall I am very happy with the sound. The white is just a white with a tint on the colour spectrum. After setup, the soundbar is ready to use and controllable either through the remote or the Bose Music app. Input selection, sound settings, speaker grouping and volume control are all quickly reachable through the overview of the speaker in the app. However, out of the box, the only selectable inputs were TV (eARC) and Bluetooth.
