A lot of people suggesting Wacom and I completely disagree. You're paying a high price for a brand there. Get a cheap Huion or similar and it will work just as well. I have a Wacom cintiq I love the tablet except when the goddamned drivers go out which will happen. Honestly I don't hardly ever use it for zbrush. Officially the website states you only get a year of updates with the perpetual. So that's 900 for one year of software updates. In practice though yes they have never charged again for updates and they were always free. A subscription is 39,95 a month so doing that for 2 years is about the same as 1 perpetual license (50 dollars more).
