Honestly depends on what you want. Both are great. Sellsword with sharp gem is really good. Gotthard twin blade is very good too especially with chaos or dark gem. Personally I feel gotthard is better for pvp, while sellsword is one of the best early weapons you can get that you can even use throughout the game. 8.
