Dec 20, 2022 · Ranger felt fine overall even though I would love to have the gloomstalker option also I'm missing the upgrades WotC made for the Ranger as I like builds with solid outside of combat skills (BG3 has nothing useful as favorite enemies nor the option for expertise).

Warlock get a familiar at level three. Rangers get one too. Warlocks can cast spells. 4! of them per long rest. Wow. They are supposed to be full spellcasters. 2 of them will usually be eaten up by hex and armor of agathys. Even Rangers, who are supposed to be half casters, can compete in that regard. Put your wisdom at a manageable place, then focus on dexterity and charisma!
