Oct 11, 2023 · Ever since I upgraded from macOS Monterey to Sonoma, Geometry Dash stopped working and crashed every time I tried to open it. I tried uninstalling Geometry Dash and installing it via the App Store, but that didn't work. And I can't install Steam due to personal restrictions! I'm using an M1 MacBook Air (2020)

After the update, my GD just won't launch. Getting rid of MegaOverlay I've previously installed. None of that helped. Looking through Windows events says nothing either. Have the same problem, idk whats going on. same. Found the issue for me, it was mega overlay. Try going to your gd folder, deleting the contents of the folder then reinstalling.
