Honda odyssey spool valve leaking.
I tried the replacement gaskets and it still leaked. Looking at here and the OdyClub forum many people are lucky and the gaskets work, but some unlucky ones like me end up having to buy the OEM spool assembly from the dealer ($250!) to get it to stop leaking.

However, just use the top part or just get the gaskets and replace them (that is usual fix). Replacing entire spool valve is VERY labor intensive since top part of ...

When putting the new one on I used silicone gasket maker to seal it. It's still leaking. Save yourself from tearing apart the front head to fix this oil leak. Sadly, Honda doesn't sell the gasket and you need to buy the whole VTEC assembly, this also requires you to remove the front valve cover and camshaft assembly to replace it. Make sure the assembly (that is taken apart in the video) is squeaky clean.That quote for the spool valve is very high. I installed the VCMuzzler at about 95k miles and spool valve was not leaking at the time, but started leaking around 160k.
