In my opinion KOTOR 2 has the best romance subplot in any game of recent memory. The reason being that there really wasn't one but you could tell there was a sexual tension between the characters but the reasoning behind it with the writing is whats truly exceptional. Kotor 1 got the ball rolling even though I’d consider it the more traditional SW story of the 2, while Kotor 2 takes this idea and creates the character of Kreia who quite literally sees the conflict between both sides as never ending and pointless.
