Outward best weapon.

Just using the runic armour ATM and never really seen it before, it's a real banger and probably the best armour for a Battlemage. Silver armor, i love the look and its incredible for lightning damage builds. Master desert and squire. Hard to say but looks wise, probably Blue Sand honestly. Marble Mace + Manticore Dagger = Confusion + Pain, the unique combo which makes opportunist strike do quadruple damage. Yup, 20dmg+20fire on the dagger suddenly becomes 80dmg+80fire with 200 impact. Also, dagger can do serpents parry, which causes extreme bleeding and stun the enemy for 3 seconds if you have both pain+confusion on him. Pistols are ranged weapons in Outward with shorter range than bows, but have a lot more damage. They consume one bullet per shot fired, and cannot be manually aimed the same way as a bow and thus Pistols require lock-on. Pistols are held in the offhand and must be reloaded and fired with the use of a skill. The reload time is long however, so be careful during combat. Multiple skills require a ... The +35% total fire bonus along with the good defense stats make it a great battle-mage armor. Also the enchantments will give 30% reduction in magic AND stamina. Amazing all round set. Kinda varies honestly, focusing entirely frost, that crimson set, or maybe a combo of spirit of cierzo/inner cool pieces.The best one handed weapon will depend almost entirely on your build, but here's a few examples of my favorites of each type: Sword- Brand. They hit hard, don't lock you down so much as 'normal weapons', and combos are overrated. Plus having a 'free' bleed so early goes extremely far toward helping do some work without putting yourself at (additional) risk. Some honorable mentions are Swords and Spears. Swords are in general the best 1h weapon option, as axe and mace have inferior weapon skills. Also Sword's skill inflicts Pain and has a 2x damage/impact multiplier on a 10 sec cooldown.
