I have Bartlein barrels on some of my other rifles, but I've never used a Shilen.The barrels feature a 1-1/16" - 20 barrel thread and are attached to the action by a barrel nut. Shilen gets talked about and has some fans for sure but I figure its kind of a roll of the dice anyways. Does Criterion seem to make a comparable quality barrel, or should I just go with whats a known brand to me?

All 3 of the barrels I have are not much better to a factory barrel as far as I'm concerned. They also did a poor job lapping them which means they foul pretty bad.
