Yes, I finally got to it and fix it. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on. they are actuator sensors down on the transfer case. one tells if it's in 4low or not, and one tells it if its in 4hi or not. I accidentally unplugged the 4low one instead of the 4hi one because I think the 4hi one is bad, but I'm not sure. before today I could engage and disengage my 4hi and 4low with no problems, other than the blinking 4hi ...

I was in 4-high. It was working fine. When I turned the switch to 4 low while in neutral, the light on the dash just blinked rapidly. It wouldn't switch to 4 low.
