Feb 10, 2022 · 1. The zombies aren’t actually that scary. Show isn’t gratuitous with the zombie scenes or the blood, which I think is a big plus. One of the things that I think makes the zombies different from zombies in other shows, is that the zombies here are portrayed as patients infected by a mysterious disease, rather than undead monsters. 2. Show’s feel-good community vibes are very similar to the signature vibes of the Reply series, Prison Playbook and Hospital Playlist; the fact that writer-nim was a writer for Prison Playbook definitely shows. 4. The actress playing young Sang Zhi looks like a child. It’s true that the actress playing young Sang Zhi is only 10 years old, but I don’t see that as a problem. It would be a problem if the show was putting a 10-year-old in an inappropriate situation with a much older man, but there’s honestly none of that.

3. Think of the plot twists as tropes. Because this is a very twisty story, part of the thrill of watching this story for the first time, is being mind-blown by the twists. Our narrative isn’t the most original thing ever, but the tropes are generally well done, and make sense within the context of our story. My suggestion is to just roll with it, rather than hold it against Show, for using tropes in the first place. 5. Raws: refers to videos as they are, without subtitles. Not to be confused with rawr.
