Fin, the author of the mod has said he is aware of the current issues with gear and AI difficulties regardless of what we (the players) change. Somehow 12.12 isn't responding to some mods right, too technical for my brain to explain lol. My best advice I can give is to just keep testing and trying things out bud.

You can also use the SPT-AKI Configurator . There is a setting for Bots, USEC/BEAR spawn percent, scav raiders, number of PMC to replace scavs etc. I think Fins AI Tweaks is the best for PMC spawns and Lua's Spawn Rework in close second. Fin’s has gotten super janky as of late and causes a lot of issues. It also conflicts with a lot of other mods that it shouldn’t, and it seems like Fin is kinda done with putting effort into it.
