It’s crucial to remember that while Anheuser-Busch is a division of Anheuser-Busch InBev, which also owns Stella Artois and Corona, Modelo is owned by Grupo Modelo, a division of AB InBev currently. Today, New York-based Constellation Brands owns the Modelo group. In 2016, it created Casa Modelo to better brand those beers. Constellation bought the company from Anheuser-Busch InBev, which is headquartered in Belgium.
