The Xmen core locations have 3 of the same effects as the OG core locations. 1 effect is similar and a little better in the Xmen box. The other 4 blow the OG box out of the water. I will want to house rule something where we keep the locations mostly to the choosen villian. Otherwise we will never use the OG location.

That’s an interesting theory. I believed they chose the X-Men 97 theme because its spirit is to be the "pop"/simple/distilled version of the comics.
