I put neosporin on my 8-week old earlobe piercings because they still ooze. My dumbass forgot that neosporin isn't really supposed to be for puncture wounds. Googled this stuff and found different people saying different things. Wondering if it is really true what people say about petroleum based products being bad for piercings.

Neosporin contains Neomyacin and Polysporin contains Polymyacin both of those ingredients will cause issues with puncture wounds or body piercings.
